Thank you for your interest in Natasha Perez Homes!  I am applying for the job of becoming your real estate consultant.  To properly introduce myself, I’ve put together a short biography for you.

I was born and raised in San Diego; it’s such a beautiful city I fall in love with it all over again every time I see our skyline! We moved around a lot when I was young. So far I’ve lived in North Park, El Cajon, La Mesa, National City, Mira Mesa, Clairemont and Linda Vista. I know all of the neighborhoods in San Diego very well because I’ve lived in them.

I graduated from Helix High School, went on to San Diego City and Mesa Colleges to work on a degree in biology . My dream career was to work on an HIV vaccine. I worked for 7 years in the biotech industry doing cell culture, DNA sequencing, and virus construction/purification. As much as I love science, excelling in the industry really requires a PhD which I was not willing to pursue while raising my three small sons.

I really enjoyed motivating my co-workers as well as managing various projects so I decided that a good fit for me and my family would be to pursue a business degree from San Diego State University. I graduated with a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management in 2004. I worked in the hotel industry for a year before it dawned on me that my passion is and has always been in real estate. For me, real estate marries entrepreneurial drive with my love of architecture and interior design with my tenacity for putting deals together. It was an “a-ha!” moment. Why wasn’t I doing this before? I’ve been investing in real estate since 1997 and finally decided to make the jump to do it professionally.
